Your Role
Lead & support the culinary team through daily service
Mentor team members on skill development, organization, and quality
Maintain kitchen efficiency, cleanliness, and prep standards
Ensure food quality through recipe execution and refinement
Communicate with FOH to ensure smooth service flow
Manage ordering, inventory, and waste reduction strategies
Contribute to menu development aligned with our seasonal, healthful, and beautifully simple approach
Foster a positive & empowering kitchen culture
What You’ll Need
Kitchen leadership experience
Strong organizational & time management skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment
Availability for a minimum of 4 shifts per week, including weekends & occasional evenings
Valid food safety certifications
BONUS first aid certification

Compensation Outline
Senior Line/Prep Hourly Wage: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
Leadership Salary begins $50000.00 + bonus structure
Above average tip pool

Shifts are no more that 8.5 hours

Charlotte & the Quail {EST 2010} is a Victoria brunch fav for healthy meals, kind service, and a peaceful environment. Our location is set on the edge of a 9 acre botanical garden which fuels our days -it even includes morning herb & flower harvests for use in cooking & plating. We are a team of skilled culinary & hospitality professionals that have come together to make seasonal meals both our artistic expression and our movement for a more meaningful local food industry/system.
